Nigeria partners local manufacturers on armoured fighting vehicles

The Nigerian Army is collaborating with local defence related manufacturers to promote local industries, economic growth and save foreign exchange for Nigeria.
In furtherance to this initiative, the Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Brig-Gen. Sani Usman, stated on 

 

Thursday that the management team of an indigenous company, Proforce Limited, visited the Army Headquarters in Abuja.
Usman said the team led by Mr. Ade Ogundeyin, Group Managing Director, presented locally made armoured personnel carrier and armoured plated vehicles as

 

 well as other military products at the Army Headquarters Abuja today Wednesday, October 11,  2017.
 Already, he said, the Nigerian Army is procuring some units of the vehicles for immediate deployment to the North East.
