MPB: New combo cards ready for distribution to military pensioners

The Military Pensions Board (MPB) has said that the new Combo Identification Cards for the military retirees are ready for collection at various designated centres in each of the six geopolitical zones of the country.


The Public Relations Officer (PRO), MPB, Squadron Leader Ikenna Ezendu, in a statement on Monday, said that the new measures is in furtherance of the Board’s efforts to extend the distribution of the new Combo Identification Cards to other states of the Federation,


“The Board wishes to inform all military pensioners whose last verification centres are in Borno, Cross River, Ekiti, Katsina, Lagos, Osun, Yobe and Zamfara States, that their new combo identification cards are ready for collection,” Ezendu stated.


He directed all eligible military pensioners in the listed states to check MPB website to confirm whether their cards are ready for collection.


Also, he said, pensioners are to come along with their last verification print out and other relevant documents for clearance before collection.


“Furthermore, arrangements are ongoing to extend the distribution of these ID cards to other states,” he revealed.


The MPB Spokesperson said that the distribution exercise, scheduled from Monday 27 February – Friday 3 March 2017 will take place at the centres listed on the table below.
