Two Suicide Bombers Killed  In A Foiled Attack Near UniMaid

The two  suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers have killed themselves in a failed attempt to attack some locations near the University of Maiduguri, Borno State North East Nigeria. This is the second of these suicide missions by suspected female terrorists in a matter of days.
This was confirmed in a statement on Monday by the  Information officer, National Emergency MManagement Agency (NEMA),  North East, Mr. Abdulkadir Ibrahim.

“An attempt by another set of female suicide bombers to attack a community around university of Maiduguri was foiled by security personnel about 4am Monday morning .
“No casualty was recorded except the two female suicide bombers who died and their remains were deposited at Borno state specialist hospital by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) emergency response teams,” Ibrahim said.He noted that there was a similar explosion last Saturday at a mosque close to Federal high court jiddari polo, where the emergency response teams evacuated the bodies of  two female suicide bombers believed to have died in the incident.

He reminded that the Saturday’s explosion which occurred at about 5.25 am, affected four victims who were transported to hospital.
