The chairman of Auto Company also stated that his visit to DICON was not in pursuit of money but interest of his beloved country stressing that the development of Nigeria’s potentials occupies a central place in his heart rather than pursuit of money. He added that the commendations or accolades received from well-meaning Nigerians were enough for him.
“The money we waste in importing other nation’s finished products can be properly channeled to improve on local manufacturing to meet our own domestic need”, he added.

Bamidele Ogunkale noted that DICON through the ingenuity of its technical staff, complimented by an array of functional machines at the corporation’s Ordnance Factories were able to refurbish assorted weapons back loaded to the Corporation for repairs from theatre of operations across the country.
