S/East retired military officers commend Buratai

The Executive Members of Retired Army, Navy and Airforce Association (RANAO)of Nigeria, South East Chapter has paid a courtesy visit to the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, Maj Gen Adamu Baba Abubakar at the Headquarters of the Division in Enugu on Tuesday.
The Chairman of the Association  Group Captain CU Chiedu (rtd), on behalf of members of the association, thanked and commended the Chief of Army Staff(COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, the GOC and personnel of the Division for the continuous efforts in the provision/development of peace and security in the South East geopoitical zone.
“As stakeholders, we are here to commend the efforts of the COAS and personnel of the Division for the work you are doing in the South East Zone, especially in the areas of security, conflict resolution between and among warring communities. I must also appreciate your reception and kind disposition towards us, – these are very much appreciated,” Chiedu said.
Responding,.Abubakar, on behalf of the personnel of the Division, thanked the RANAO members for the visit and reminded them that he too will sooner or later join them. He urged them to continue to carry out the noble mission of the association in the best possible ways.
The Commanders 54 Signal Brigade, 82 Division Supply and Transport, Military Intelligence Brigade Brigadier Generals Wilson Ali, Emmanuel  Anariyo and Col Kingsley Nwoko were in attendance.
 Others are the 82 Division Education Officer, Commander Finance and Accounts and Coordinator Civil Military Affairs of the Division Brigadier General AA Gwani, Colonels MK Joktan and AS Amusa as well as DCOS G1 Colonel MO Eteng also graced the ocassion.
