Four children have re-united with their parents at Ngafure village in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno state after suffering two years of captivity by the boko haram terrorists.
Director Army Public Relations, Brig Gen, Texas Chukwu in a statement on Thursday said the Troops of 22 Brigade deployed in Operation LAFIYA DOLE rescued the hostages, two boys and two girls during a clearance operation at Maima village in Ngala Local Government Area of the State.
According to the statement, a 36 hand grenade was also recovered during the operation.
Chukwu informed that the rescued hostages are currently receiving medical attention at the military health facilities.
He reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Army in rescuing all the hostages held by the Boko Haram terrorists .
