2019: Dangote, Otedola, Tinubu headlines Buhari’s re-election bid(full list)

Akpabio, Ken Nnamani, Amaechi in key positions

The African richest man, Aliko Dangote; oil magnate, Femi Otedola and All Progressive Congress (APC) National Leader, Sen. Bola Tinubu, have been appointed into a lead role in the re-election bid of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is coming as the APC flagged off Buhari’s  electioneering campaign in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital on Friday.

The names of members of its Presidential Campaign Council for the 2019 elections, had the President himself being appointed as the Chairman, while the former Lagos State Governor, A Tinubu is named as the Co-Chairman of the Council.

In the statement issued Fand circulated by President Buhari’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adeshina, had both Dangote and Otedola in the Special Advisory committee.

Also playing prominent roles are: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and APC National Chairman, Comarade Adams Oshiomhole as joint Deputy National Chairmen; former Senate President, Ken Nnamani (Vice Chairman, South),  Sen. Geroge Akume (Vice Chairman, North); Minister of Transport, Chibuike Amaechi as the Campaign Director-General and Sen. Godswill Akpabio as Zonal Director (South-South).
