Airtel launches Scheme For Victims of Nigerian Army’s Fallen Heroes

Airtel Nigeria has on Thursday announced that it’s scheme called ‘Victim Support Programme’ will provide support to victims of Nigerian Army fallen heroes.

According to a statement by the spokesperson of the 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Hassan Mohammed, the Airtel Regional Operations Manager (West), Femi Oshinlaja when he paid a visit to the General Officer Commanding(GOC) of the Division Major General Okwudili Azinta, at the Headquarters Ibadan.

Mohammed explained that the Airtel Operations Manager and his team came to establish a harmonious relationship with the Division.

Mohammed quoted Oshilalaja as saying “the Brand has scheme known as Victim Support Programme were people who suffer grievous loses in disasters are supported to start a new life.”

Oshilalaja added that Airtel will maintain a cordial working relationship with the Division.

According to the statement, the GOC had seized the opportunity of the visit to call to carry out social responsibility programmes that will alleviate the plight the widows and families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives defending the territorial integrity of the country are facing.
