NCFRMI, IOM facilitates return of 145 Nigerian migrants from Libya

The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and other related agencies of the Federal Government have received another batch of Nigerian migrants from Libya.


This was contained  in a statement made available to Global Sentinel on Monday night by the South west Zonal Director of NCFRMI, Mrs. Margaret Ukegbu.


Ukegbu said that a total of 145 Nigerians,  were returned from Libya aboard a  chartered flight from Libya. 


She gave a breakdown of returnees on the flight to include: nine infants, two children, 35 female adults and 99 male adults.


She said fhe reception exercise, which was coordinated by the NCFRMI and facilitated by International Organisation for Migration (IOM) under the EU/IOM Return and Reintegration initiative successfully received and profiled the returnees.
