Media Aide to Sen Amos emerges NASSLAF Spokesperson

Abdul Lauya, the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the Senator representing Gombe South Senatorial District, Sen Bulus K. Amos, has been elected the Spokesperson for the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum (NASSLAF). 

NASSLAF is an association of Legislative Aides that provide legislative and administrative support to federal lawmakers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the National Assembly.

Born in 1980, Abdul Lauya holds BSc Mass Communication from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Associate Member Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, (ANIPR) since 2011;  Served as Public Relations Executive, Nigerian Navy, August, 2000 – Dec, 2015; Served variously as Transport, Customs, Defence Correspondent. 

Lauya later became the Assistant Politics Editor in the AUTHORITY Newspaper, Abuja, Dec, 2015 – June, 2019. This was the position he held until he was appointed Senior Special Assistant (Media) to Distinguished Sen Bulus K. Amos, Gombe South Senatorial District, June, 2019 – date. He is now elected Spokesperson NASSLAF in October, 2020.
