Prince Adewole Adebayo, Chief Executive Officer of King Adebayo Film and Theatre Arts Network Television (KAFTAN TV) on Thursday registered at his ward in Ondo state in pursuit of his ambition to contest for presidency in the 2023 General elections under the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Adebayo had in February 2022 declared his intention to become President of Nigeria. This, he said he would achieve under the platform of the SDP, with the youths as his foot soldiers. He registered at Ward 9 in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo state.
“I welcome my committed coalition of political parties to join my Flagship SDP with the Charging White horse to victory come 2023 as am sure of winning the party primary,” he said in a chat with Global Sentinel
Adebayo had in a recent interview with The Sun Newspapers, said he chose the campaign slogan ” Hope Again 2023″ because of what the PDP government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan and the APC government of President Buhari has “done is to remove hope from the Nigerian people.”

According to him, Nigerians thought that the PDP government was the worst they could get, so they voted for the APC, but said all those who voted Buhari in 2015 seem to have been made “a fool of. ”
“President Buhari has not only destroyed his government, but he has also destroyed the hope of Nigerians. Nigerians were struggling to pay N7,000 for a bag of rice under Jonathan, now are forced to pay N35,000 for the same bag of rice under President Buhari,” he had said.
Adebayo is a Nigerian lawyer, entrepreneur, public affairs analyst, politician, philanthropist, and founder of KAFTAN TV. He is a leading member of the steering committee of the National Consultative Front (NCF), providing a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the major opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He is also a Member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
While in Ondo State, the SDP candidate for Ekiti State governorship election, Mr. Segun Oni, paid him a courtesy visit.
