Transcorp Hilton Abuja,Nigeria’s hospitality giant has been announced as the official host venue for the 2025 Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Press Week scheduled to hold on July 22.

The event is expected to attract over 300 journalists, media executives, editors, and stakeholders from across the country, reaffirming the hotel’s status as a hub for national engagement and strategic discourse.

Its selection as host for the 2025 NUJ FCT Press Week underscores its commitment to free press, credible journalism, and open dialogue values essential to Nigeria’s democratic growth.

Organisers of the event noted that the decision to partner with Transcorp Hilton Abuja was based on the hotel’s exceptional record in service delivery, logistical capacity, and its alignment with the NUJ’s mission to promote press freedom and excellence in journalism.

The Press Week will feature conferences, award ceremonies, panel discussions, and networking sessions focused on the future of journalism in the digital age, media independence, and national development.

This announcement comes at a time when Transcorp Hilton is strengthening its footprint in the tourism and events space.

The hotel is currently constructing a 5,000-capacity world-class Event Centre designed to host large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and conventions.
