The Acting Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Dr. Samson Karebo
has commenced training of women and children in the area of fire prevention and fire fighting.
The Ag. CGF at the weekend hosted Children and Fire Officers Wives’ Association at the premises of the Headquarters of Federal Fire where they were trained on fire prevention and elementary fire fighting.
Karebo had in his take over speech informed Nigerians that one of his major priorities will be to train and sensitize Nigerians on fire prevention and fire fighting.
The Ag. CGF is determined to repeat same training for Market men and women as well as other sectors across the country with a view to creating awareness and securing the country from Fire and other related emergencies.
Participants at the training session while thanking the Ag. CGF for training, expressed their excitement for the privilege to be trained and promised to practice all that they’ve learnt.
