The Nigerian Air Force has stepped up efforts to strengthen its operational capacity through international collaboration and advanced training partnerships.
This follows a strategic visit by the Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Kelvin Aneke, to aviation training institutions in London, Ontario.
Aneke led a delegation to the International Test Pilots School and the International Tactical Training Centre to explore areas of cooperation and capacity development.
Discussions during the visit focused on fighter training, helicopter operations, unmanned aerial systems and advanced flight testing.
The talks also covered technical support, joint research and possible upgrades of Air Force aircraft.
The Air Chief said the move is part of efforts to modernise the Service, improve personnel skills and enhance mission effectiveness.
He added that partnerships with global institutions will help build a more professional and technologically driven force.
Officials of the host institutions expressed readiness to support the Nigerian Air Force through training and knowledge exchange programmes.
