The North Central Youth Council Leaders of Nigeria (NCYLCN), has appealed to Kogi state Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, to deliver the mandate of his immediate Past Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku to the people.
Chairman of the Council, Comrade Abbah JM Abbah, in a signd statement Monday said Asuku will deliver goods if given the opportunity to serve the state, recalling Gov. Bello’s earlier promise for a much younger person to succeed him in office.
The statement assured that Asuku, is a very credible young man who is well groomed to take up the mantle of leadership.
“Here is a man whom we believe will very much build on the beautiful legacies of Gov. Yahaya Bello, he has demonstrated this capacity time and again. Asuku is always at the forefront of promoting the agenda of the Governor and has portrayed the state in very good light.
“His open door policies is only second to that of Gov. Yahaya Bello. Asuku is a friend of the youths, loved by all, both the young and the old, he has related very well with the grassroots and understands their plights very well, so will be easier for him to hit the ground running haven been Part of the Governments,” the statement said.
“We plead not only with H.E Gov. Yahaya Bello, but also with all party stakeholders and leaders to ensure that the people’s mandate(Asuku) is delivered to the people during the forthcoming party primaries,” the statement added.
