The Ogun State Police Command has moved swiftly to quash circulating reports claiming that popular entertainer Broda Shaggi was shot in the state.
In an official statement, the Command emphasized that no such incident has been reported at any police formation across Ogun State. DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, Police Public Relations Officer, signed the press release from Eleweran, Abeokuta, stressing the importance of accuracy in public information.
The statement clarified that the Police cannot confirm that the alleged shooting occurred anywhere within its jurisdiction.
In line with their commitment to transparency and professionalism, the Command has launched investigations to verify the veracity of the reports.
Police sources confirmed that the inquiry will examine all leads, ensuring that any potential threat to public safety is promptly addressed.
Citizens are urged to rely solely on official police communication while the investigation unfolds, avoiding the spread of unverified information.
