Former Welfare Officer of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (FCT chapter) Mrs Dorcas Pankyes, a correspondent with Nigeria Standard Newspapers and state correspondent of Vanguard Newspapers, Mrs. Marie-Therese Nanlong makes list of newly appointed media aides of the Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang.
Mutfwang, on Saturday, announced the appointment of as many as 204 media aides.
According to a statement by the governor’s director of press and public affairs, Gyang Bere, the appointment is aimed at enhancing public awareness and administration’s policies in the state,
Bere said the appointments takes immediate effect.
“In a bid to enhance public awareness and disseminate the policies of the ‘Time is Now’ administration to the grassroots level, the executive governor of Plateau state, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the appointments of some Media aides,” the statement said.
According to Mutfwang, 40 of the appointees will serve as; Principal Special Assistants, (Media), 53 Senior Special Assistants (Media), and 111 Special Assistants, respectively
