President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, has called for enhanced cooperation between the media team of Benue Governor, Hyacinth Alia and that of the Presidency.
This according to Onanuga is to better highlight the reforms and developmental strides of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration.

A statement on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Tersoo Kula disclosed that Onanuga made this call on Wednesday in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, during an interactive session with Governor Alia’s media team.
The statement noted that, the session provided an opportunity for the Governor’s media team to present a detailed overview of the administration’s ongoing projects and achievements.
The presentation, which was led by the Kula, emphasized Governor Alia’s interventions across several key sectors. These include road construction and rehabilitation, agriculture, healthcare, education, ICT, industrialization, and human capital development. These initiatives, Onanuga noted, highlights a focused and deliberate approach to governance that aligns with the priorities of the APC-led government.
Mr. Onanuga expressed his surprise at the significant progress achieved by Governor Alia within just two years in office.
He described the accomplishments as clear evidence that the governor has been effectively utilizing the revenues accruing to the state, much of which have been bolstered by the positive outcomes of President Tinubu’s economic reforms.
The Presidential spokesman commended Governor Alia’s administration for demonstrating a clear understanding of the fundamental needs of the people and for its commitment to addressing those needs through meaningful projects.

Onanuga emphasized that the Governor’s performance reflects the kind of governance that President Tinubu has endorsed, one that prioritizes the welfare of citizens and drives sustainable growth.
