As part of its activities to herald the Christmas season, the Transcorp Hilton Abuja in a spectacular style set up it’s tree lighting occasioned with ceremony and carol.
The General Manager, Jorg Potreck in his welcome address, described the beautiful Christmas tree, as a symbol of hope, unity, and joy.
Potreck noted that, the Christmas tree, adorned with its sparkling lights and shining ornaments, represents more than just the festive season.
According to him, Its a reminisce of the warmth of home, the joy of family and friends, and the kindness that fills the air during the special weeks of Christmas.
He charged individuals to emulate the true spirit of Christmas by giving, caring and spreading love.
He said, “whether you have been busy preparing for the year end business, the festive season or just simply enjoying the sights and sounds of the season, let’s remember that the heart of Christmas is found in the connections we share and the kindness we offer.
“It is truly wonderful to see so many of you gathered here tonight as we come together to celebrate one of the most magical times of the year – the Christmas season.”
He appreciated the Transcorp Hilton Abuja team for their dedication noting, the “renowned service is what makes evenings like this so special.”
“So, as we wait for the lighting of our tree, I invite you to reflect in the meantime on the joy, love, and hope that this season brings. Before the lighting, let us enjoy the Christmas Carols by the Abuja Metropolitan Music Society.
“Merry Christmas to you all, and may this season bring peace, joy, and light to every one of you.”
Present at the ceremony included, Mr. Tony Elumelu the organization’s President, Dr. Owen Omogiafo, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Emmanuel Nnorom, Dupe Olusola, CEO and MD of Transcorp Hotels PLC.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony at Transcorp Hilton Abuja was a joyful annual celebration of the holiday season and a showcase of the hotel’s commitment to creating lasting memories for its guests.
Highlight of the ceremony was the Christmas song rendition by the Abuja Metropolitan Music Society (AMEMUSO).
