Gift Wada 

As part of effort to fight against Gender-based Violence (GBV) in the country, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on Wednesday, donated some working equipments to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons (NAPTIP) to boost efficiency in the fight against Gender-based violence.  

Dr Zubaida Abubakar, Gender/GBV Specialist, UNFPA, who represented Ms Ulla Mueller, Country Representative, UNFPA, made the presentation to Fatimah Waziri, NAPTIP Director-General during a courtesy visit in Abuja 

She reiterated the United Nations commitment to protecting women and girls from all forms of violence and continues partnership with NAPTIP  Items donated include: 2 Laptops, 2 Air conditioners, 1 Executive Chair, 1 Executive Table, 2 Visitors Chair, 1 Cabinet, 1 UPS, 1 couch, 2 work stations for 4 person each Safety kit that included, tasers, jackknife, pepper sprays and handcuffs.

   Others include: 2 Hard Drive, 1 UPS, 1 Camera, 2 laptop bags, 2 fingerpr
