In a momentous diplomatic stride, the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has joined forces with the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) to bolster global peace initiatives and elevate Nigeria’s strategic interests. The collaboration was officially sealed during a meeting held on Thursday, August 24, as Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, played host to Dr. Joseph Ochogwu, Director-General of IPCR, and his executive team in Abuja.
In a joint statement issued by Hon. Ahmad Hassan and shared with Global Sentinel on Friday, the two entities engaged in substantial discussions aimed at solidifying their partnership in pursuit of Nigeria’s paramount interests.
According to the statement, “This encounter underscores the unwavering commitment of both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IPCR to fostering a harmonious synergy, thus contributing significantly to the realization of Nigeria’s strategic objectives on the global stage.
