I had the privilege of attending the public presentation of Senator Chris Anyanwu’s memoir, Bold Leap, at the National Universities Commission. The event on December 2nd was a testament to the power of resilience, courage, and dedication to one’s values. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, represented by David Mark, delivered the opening remarks. The Obi of Onitsha, Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, emphasized the need for Nigerian politicians to prioritize public interest over personal gain, warning against the detrimental effects of corruption.
